48th Annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow

The Nanticoke Indian Association proudly announces the 48th Annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow, a vibrant celebration of Native American culture, tradition, and community. The event will take place September 12th and September 13th, 2026. It is one of the most significant cultural gatherings on the East
Coast, welcoming thousands of attendees each year.
Event Highlights Include:
-Traditional Native American dancing and drum performances
-Grand Entry ceremonies featuring dancers in full regalia
-Traditional foods, including Indian tacos and fry bread
-Storytelling, flute playing, and cultural demonstrations
The Nanticoke Indian Powwow is a family-friendly event that promotes cultural understanding and unity. This is a time for us to honor our ancestors, educate the public, and pass our
traditions on to future generations. We welcome everyone to join us in celebration, remembrance, and community.
Gates open daily at 10:00 a.m. with Grand Entry ceremonies scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 11-17, and free to children 10 and under.
